The room I stayed in was spacious, quiet with a nice view of the forest, and the location was great, just a short walk to the village center.

the rooms are extremely spacious with good beds. the large bathroom is absolutely the best. great service, the breakfast is good.

It was a good old hotel in an outstanding area, next to the most beautiful lakes, the cute city center, restaurants, the train station and busses as well as Garmisch and other attractions by car and the mountains for skiing or hiking in the summer...

The hotel's location was excellent, being close to restaurants, shops, the train station, as well as Eibsee and Zugspitze. I enjoyed a meal at Bistro Chapeau Claque, which was only a 10-15 minute walk away from the hotel.

The room was exceptionally comfortable with central heating, a safe box, and a TV set, and the breakfast offered a wide array of choices.

This hotel is fantastic, with an amazing view of the mountains from your room. The rooms are clean and comfortable with attention to detail. The location is also great, directly across from the mountains and near the bus stop which takes you to the Zugspitze cable car. The staff provides excellent service and breakfast.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel staff spoke good English and gave us helpful information about nearby transportation options. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional, and the hotel facilities were comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, with a variety of delicious food options to choose from.

Nothing not to love.

The location across from the beautiful mountains was impressive, and the bus stop was very close to the hotel. the view nearby the hotel was breathtaking; you could see the Zugspitze cable car from the rooms. Many restaurants were near that bus stop. the room was clean, but it was too small for a big group. Breakfast had only a few varieties which was not enough for us.

There were no amenities provided by the hotel, and the staff's attitude was quite cold.

We had a great city trip and enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse. The owner was very welcoming and spoke English fluently which was a bonus. The room was comfortable, clean and had a great view of the mountains from the balcony. We also received a tourist card that gave us free use of the local bus and train services. This helped us explore the area easily and saved us some money on transportation costs.

There were no major negative aspects during our stay. However, a kettle in the room for making coffee or tea would have been appreciated.
